Alexandra Filippidou better known as “Alex” is a distinguished artist, dance mentor & performer currently based in Greece. Renowned for her expertise in the Waving dance style, she uniquely integrates techniques from animation, popping & contemporary which has garnered her high respect and appreciation within the global Waving community. Her innovative approach and skills have established her as a significant inspiration & one of the few female wavers excelling at a high level worldwide.
Alex’s dance career began nearly a decade ago, marked by her initiation into dance instruction. Over the years, her reputation has grown, leading to invitations to teach workshops & judge competitions across Europe & the USA. Her contributions to the art form & her role as a mentor to aspiring dancers continue to influence and shape the Waving dance scene.
Her goal is to guide dancers into finding who they are through their dance, embrace that and love themselves unapologetically.
